I am Yeabtsega Getachew, a digital artist based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Art is the passion that gives me the freedom to explore ideas in my own personal way of thinking. I love creating art because it is the realm where I can think outside the box and express deep and meaningful ideas the way I want them to be. It challenges me to see far out into the future and consider whether I will impact the way we see art from the country where I live. Most of my work seeks to use a method to convey abstract ideas that any viewer can interpret and relate to their personal life. Doing what I do is a privilege I am thankful for.
